Whitening for Sensitive Teeth

Why am I holding a banana?
Obviously you knew I was whitening my teeth, right?
You guys are so smart then.

Have you ever tried whitening your teeth with those gels and strips?
Why I don't use them:
My gums always burn after that and I cannot drink hot or cold drinks afterwards.
They always taste so gross.
They also cost too much to buy.
I use a banana peel instead.

Why bananas?
-High in minerals like potassium and magnetism that remove surface stains.
-Calcium in them also strengthens teeth

Advice for Seniors : Starting College

Hello, seniors!
Doesn't that feel good to say?
Only like...12 years to finally say you're a senior. Felt like forever to me.
These are some of my tips for your senior year and getting prepared for college. 

*I'm terribly sorry for that typical white girl duck face. 

Advice for high school senior:

-look at different colleges (make sure it’s the right one for you and your major). Research.

-don’t apply to certain places to impress anyone. Think logically. Think about expenses and your future not who’s around you.

-take tours or try to look at testimonies of other students on forums. 

-don’t worry if its not your dream school. You may be able to go in the future.

-community college is a great cheaper option. Go for the first 2 years then transfer to the school you really want. Save up for the better classes that your specific school only offers.

-apply earlier because once early acceptances come out you will know how to plan

-most high schools offer free applications so take advantage of those. Apply to as many as you can so you have options to choose from.

-don’t forget to fill out financial aid forms because those seriously help. Even if its not all covered, trust me, college is crazy expensive.

-you will not get accepted everywhere. Im sorry. That’s life. You can boost your application by a good gpa, test scores and even writing a great essay. But they can still deny your acceptance.

-senior year is the best year. Relax. Don’t get stressed over it. If you are determined to go to college, you’ll go even if its not exactly where you want to go.

October was a really good month! My boyfriend turned the big 20! whoo-hoo! I was so honored that I got to be with him that day. -I try falling aseep on my side but I normally lay on my tummy if I can't fall asleep.

-I am pretty good at it.

9. If you could be a makeup artist for any brand, which brand would it be?
-Benefit. I like everything by them. 
10. On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate your current ability to work a smokey eye?
-I have actually never worn one. When I try it looks pretty jank. Maybe a 3 or 4 out of 10. 

September Ipsy 2013 Review

I  normally put the spoilers on this, but I wanted to give you my thoughts also on everything.

This is everything I got in my bag. Big sexy hair gel, Zoya nail polish, LA Fresh makeup wipes, and a Costal scents eyeshadow brush.

Big Sexy Hair Gel-

It is a blow dry gel but I dont blow dry my hair so I dont really know how this works yet. 

Zoya Nail polish-

I think this nail polish is good. It is long lasting and provides a nice outcome. I wish I got a different color though since I am not a dark nail polish fan. 

LA Fresh makeup wipes- 

I love the ingredients, besides marshmallow. Thats freaky. It has a really strong sweet smell to it that I cannot stand. It does take away makeup easily and leaves no residue. The clothes are bigger than you need them to be though.

Bella Terra mineral eyeshadow- 

I really like this shadow. It is highly pigmented and has no nasty fall out. The only thing is, the color is awful. I dont wear purple eye shadow.

Costal Scents brush- 

This has become my new favorite eye shadow brush! It is everything I want in a brush. packed hairs, picks up shadow, big handle. Its wonderful. I use it for everything!
