Monday Poll Vol. 2

Le List

1. Which side of the bed do you sleep on?
-I sleep on the left side. I'm not sure why. But I always face the right side.
2. This summer, I hope to __________.
-go to Disney World. I think I might make it a yearly event.
3. When was the last time you visited a museum?
-Some time last year, fairly recent. It was a science museum with Santiago. We're nerds.
4. Would you ever consider letting your hair go completely gray?
-I'd try to make it work. I really don't like the idea of dying my hair; I'm afraid it would fall out.
5. Have you ever lost your phone?
-Yes! 100 times. It always happens to be silent when you lose it, right?
6. Do you like to listen to music in the car?
-Who doesn't? Unless I'm talking to some, I always need some type of music playing.
7. What kind of cake would you like for your birthday?
-Marble Cheese Cake. I never got to have it though because some of my friends don't like cheese cake and I had to think of them too.
8. Top four places to eat in your town?
-Chipolte, Chipolte, um...kidding. But maybe Tatu, Hustons, and the little Chinese takeout place near me.
9. What are a couple of reasons you like to wear makeup?
I started getting acne in 6th grade. No one else did and it made me insecure. I did it to cover it up and even though some days I might not need it, It feels like I'm naked without it.
10. If it’s T-Shirt Slogan Day, what does your t-shirt say?
"Nobody puts baby in the corner"

Twisted Bun Tutorial

I will eventually make a video of this so it's easier to understand. (Scroll Down to see end result)

Everyone knows how to use a sock bun, right? If you don't have one, you can make one! Just cut the tip off of a sock and roll it into a doughnut shape.

Put your hair into a pony tail and place the sock inside.

Separate hair into 2 sides and twist each side. Do it tightly or else it won't look like a twist (as you see in my end result)

wrap one side under the bun and one over the bun. Bobby pin it secure.

This is the end result. The first picture was before i hid the hair ties.

Let me know if anyone tries to do this! Good luck (:

DIY Coffee Mugs

I've seen this DIY coffee mugs everywhere! I want to make one! It's really easy and I've tried to do it, but I wont post my own picture because it has washed off. (i'll tell you how to prevent that later)

Need: White coffee mug, sharpie

Draw on your mug and stick it int he oven. 350 degrees for 30 minuets. Simple?
Let them completely cool down before you wash it.
*You must hand wash them. This is the only downside. I put everything in the dishwasher and the ink came right off. HAND WASH ONLY!

You can try Pebeo Markers, which I've heard hold up to a dishwasher, but I have not personally tried it myself.

Here are some other examples I've found that are cute:

Let me know if any of you try this!

Monday Poll Vol. 1

Le List

1. Do you usually apply your making sitting down or standing up?

- It depends. If I only do something small, I stand up. If I take my time, I sit down.

2. Have you ever cried at work?

-I have. I don't want to explain (:

3. When was the last time you wore body glitter in the daytime?

-Whoa! Never.

4. You just ordered a deli sandwich. Do you eat the pickle it comes with?

-Yes! I actually like a crunchy pickle once in a while.

5. Share a good memory from your high school years.

-Once my friend and I got to run around the campus calling different kids out of their classes to take pictures of them. It was fun to just walk around for a few hours playing with a nice DSRL.

6. Something looming over your head that you need to get done sooner than later?

-Go to the DMV. Had my permit for 3 years. Its pretty sad.

7. What’s your weekend scent?

-My Victoria Secret Passion fruit Spring Break spray.

8. List your shower routine from start to finish.

-I shampoo first then apply conditioner. I let it sit while I wash my body and face. Then I shave. Eventually I end up rinsing out the conditioner...except for the few occasions I realize later my hair is awfully greasy and need to reshower.

9. What’s your stance on jumpsuits?

-jumpsuits? Never had a stance.

10. Have you ever traveled abroad?

-NO! I want to so terribly! I will one day. Just wait.

Boats, Lunch and Rain

Mu uncle came down this week and took me to a restaurant called "Bimini Boat Yard". Has anyone ever heard of it? It was really good and I'd love to go back. They have in indoor and outdoor dining areas, but we chose to be outdoors since it's been snowing the past few weeks where he lives.

The attire is casual.

Sorry my finger was in the way.

This was out table

It really is a boat yard!

This was the door to the inside dining area.

Karen's Club Chicken Sandwich (chicken, onions, tomatoes, cheese, on sour dough bread)

Key Lime Pie

DIY Bow Ring

1.) You'll need cutting pliers, a wire about 5"-8" (depending on your ring size), and anything the same size of your finger or bigger (I used lipstick).

2.) Clamp the wire and wrap it around until you formed a circle on 1 side.

3.) Wrap the whole ring around the lipstick until you formed the hole for your finger, still leaving space.

4.) Clamp the unbent end and make another loop.

5.) Wrap the lose end into the hole, around the center (between the loops) and pull downwards. There if your ring! I cut off the extra wire to make the ties even.

This is the finished project! Have fun!

Recent Date Pictures

Santiago and I recently went on a little date. We went to the beach and shared a big sandwich!

Just so everyone knows...I was chewing on ice!

I'm not sure why we look mad. Stare-off?

The straw is not up my nose.

Thank you, Santi!

Empties Pt.1

I rarely run out of products. Looking at the oldest product I've saved, its been about a year since I first bought it. First, that's unsanitary, and it just shows that I never go through anything. So, needless to say, I won't be doing empties very often but ti was fun to just throw everything away. It shows if I really liked something or not.
