Seriously?!?!? Jesus Inc.

I know this is not beauty related what so ever. Actually, this is quite random and I wanted to rant for a second. My appolgies in advance if I say anything offensive or you dislike me because of what I am about to say.

I recently took a little trip to my local Wal-Mart with my friend who came to visit after being away at college for a few months. It's like our thing. We scan Wal-Mart for random items, glance at the beauty section, realize we are to poor and go eat some fro-yo.
Well on this trip I noticed some odd tooth brush out of the corner of my eye. Yippie. A toothbrush! false. My friend left to find something else randomly and I went back to this strange tooth brush. I'm not strange. Disclaimer...I am not a freak who collects tooth brushes either.

Is that what I think it is??? Yeah. A Jesus tooth brush. I don't understand. Is it so you can have teeth as white as the pearly gates of Heaven? This made no sense to me.

For real.
Thats not the only Jesus thing I've seen. It just made me kind of upset. Well, honestly at first I was very excited and thought it was so nifty. Then because I was in my lonesome at Wal-Mart I began to ponder.
Haven't you seen the millions of Jesus related items?
-tooth brushes
-t-shirts
-bobble heads
-mints
-mugs
-candles
-clocks
-bumper stickers
-hats
-posters
-key chains
-blankets....
seriously? Almost anything you can put a picture of Jesus on. It bothers me.
While being a Christian, this happens to bother me. It probably shouldn't and I should be pleased that my savior gets known, but not in this way. Wearing a shirt that says "Jesus is my home dog" does not make you a Christian. Sorry, but it doesn't.
I bet that most of the companies that print those aren't even believers. They just know they will be bought.

If you are a real Christian, you don't need a shirt that announces it to everyone. Your actions should show it.
Instead of wasting money on that, donate it. Give it to your church. Give it to a homeless shelter.
I know the Christmas season is over, but you can still be thoughtful any time of the year. So instead of buying a mocking toothbrush, do something better with your money and help someone else. I do not support the "Jesus Brand". I am a follower of Jesus, but I think that that merchandise is mocking Christians. I do not support it.
That is the end of my rant.
haha.
Sorry for that! Carry on. Have a nice day! (:
